Here’s why I’m doTERRA’s biggest fan.

I found doTERRA through a classmate of mine while I was studying to be a Health Coach at the Institute For Integrative Nutrition.

While in the program, my health coach asked me if I’d ever used essential oils (I was always complaining about something…night sweats, back aches, stomach issues). I said, “No, what do you do with them? Use them aromatically, topically or internally?” And she said, “Yes, all of the above – go check it out.”

After we hung up the phone I hopped on to the school’s website where we could communicate with other students, and found myself in the student-to-student marketing section. When I opened that section, the first post was from a classmate that I didn’t know, and it said “my wife is having an essential oil webinar tomorrow night, if you’re interested, click here”. I thought, wow that’s pretty interesting.

I was fascinated by the information I learned. After the webinar I called Brianne, the woman who taught the class, and we had an instantaneous rapport. I ended up buying a kit and started using the oils on myself and my boyfriend Herb (who is now my husband), and we had remarkable results.

Herb had ongoing respiratory concerns, and after 3 months his coughing subsided substantially – and in 6 months it was completely gone. He goes for a check up every 6 months and no longer has these issues!

I had no intention of pursuing the business side of doTERRA but after a few months of using the products it happened naturally. I connected with a friend who wasn’t feeling well and went to her home to put a few oils on her and show her how to diffuse them. Before I left I gave her an Aromatouch treatment, during which she had a huge shift and started getting relief. We were both pleasantly surprised! She posted a picture of Peppermint Beadlets on Facebook and a friend of hers came over to see what we were up to. We were just having a great time in a very casual setting – and she was getting results!

When I left I called Brianne, and told her the story and how much fun I had…and she started laughing. I asked what was so funny, and she said, “That’s all you have to do!” That was the beginning of my jumping into the business side of doTERRA.

From there, I just started sharing with people I knew, and anyone I met. It was easy to share something I was passionate about, and that I knew could change people’s lives. I found a few people that were also interested in building a business, and together we started spreading the word and helping people to have choices and be empowered with natural solutions.

My business grew steadily at a pace that was very natural for me and I caught the true vision of what was possible for me and for the change that I could be in the world. I knew network marketing worked. I’ve seen people be successful at it. I had tried it before without results. This time it was different.

I have a product and company that I am passionate about, so it feels very natural and comfortable for me. And the proof is in my paychecks. I grew through the ranks and hit Diamond 3 1/2 years into it – in the shortest month of the year! I now have a residual income that surpasses the income that I received when I worked at my job in advertising, and it continues to grow.

Network marketing when done right, with the right company, the right products, and the right people, takes on a life of it’s own. I am truly blessed that I was able to take seven weeks off to help my mom who needed me by her side – and my business kept going and growing. Had I been at a job, I never could have been there for her!

I am close to “retirement age” and this girl is not going to retire. Why would I?! I’m doing what I love, changing peoples lives physically, emotionally and financially. I get to live the life I love every day. I got married in Italy just because I could. I never could have done that as an employee – I wouldn’t have had the time or financial resources. I get to travel and have financial freedom. I can truly say that I love my life.

And the best part is that I don’t have to worry about my financial future in my later years, as many people do when they get tired of working, or get pushed out of their jobs only to find their financial future to be very bleak.

The people I have met along the way, whether they are on my “team” or on “crossline teams” are extraordinary human beings, who are so loving and generous and supportive to each other.
